ALM-4  Old Town condo - If you're looking for a special place to stay during your visit to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, then you should consider this beautiful upscale newer 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath vacation rental, the Casa Romantica, is ideally located in the charming and most desired area of the town known as the Zona Romantica.

This vacation apartment is situated on the third floor of the 7-unit El Almendro building and is located in Vallarta's very charming and most desired area, the South Side or Romantic Zone. This condo is a unique vacation home in the area and enjoys the advantageous position of having a direct front balcony which offers one of the most picturesque city views out of the other two-bedroom units in the building. Its location and upscale furnishing put this holiday rental in a category of its own.

This stylish vacation accommodation is conveniently located just 2 minutes away from Los Muertos beach and 2-3 blocks from from the world famous gay beach at the Blue Chairs. In addition, within just a few minutes stroll you can also find yourself at the center of the best dining spots and the exciting Vallarta gay nightlife in town with its nightclubs and fun bars and cantinas. An array of art galleries, shopping and the famous downtown malecon are also within fairly easy walking distance with the new pedestrian bridge over the Cuale River. A bi-lingual friendly manager is available at El Almendro for any questions you may have.

Condo features: Two bedrooms with one king bed and two singles (which can be joined to make a king), and a full size pullout bed in the living room; fully air conditioned, fully equipped kitchen with oven, cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, blender, refrigerator, toaster, table ware, toaster oven and purified bottled water, ceiling and floor fans. There is a local telephone and Vonage with unlimited calls to Canada and the USA, CD and DVD player, oversize beach towels, cable TV, iron and ironing board, hair dryers, high-end mattresses, luxury linens and hotel-quality towels, washer and dryer, 2.5 bathrooms. Also available to guests of the Casa Romantica is a desktop computer, laser printer and of course wireless high speed internet. There is a safe box unit in each bedroom.

Maid service is twice (2 times) per week, usually Mon and Fri, with extra service approximately 400-500 pesos. Children are allowed; pets are not allowed. A non-smoking vacation rental. Approximately forty (40) stairs up to this luxurious gay-owned condominium vacation rental of 1,253 square feet or 116 sq. meters. Sleeps up to four (4-6) guests maximum, two guests per bedroom maximum, and there is also one full-size pullout bed in the living room.

El Almendro apartment building has a rooftop common area sundeck terrace, palapa and dipping pool that offers majestic view of the sparkling blue waters of the ocean, breathtaking town scenery and surrounding hills as well as a serene and tranquil setting where you can find true repose while sun-bathing under the beautiful skies of Mexico.

For the Casa Romantica, a 50% deposit is required within four-six (4-6) days from the date the reservation is confirmed. There is a $200 USD refundable security deposit due with the final payment which is held for my clients in case of damages, and sent back within a week or so of departure. Client is responsible for any and all damages beyond normal wear and tear. The final payment due at 35-40 days before arrival, except for the Holidays, when payment is due at 65-70 days before arrival.

Condo prices: Winter: Nov 1-Apr 30, $165 per night, except for the holidays; Summer: May 1-Oct 31, $130 per night; Thanksgiving week: $195 per night; Christmas and New Years weeks, Dec 20-Jan 3, $215 per night. Taxes are included. Slight discount for a seven (7) night stay during the summer. (Rates as of August 2021.
