OA-6 Olas Altas Condo - Studio apartment located in the heart of Old Town Vallarta in the quaint and private seven-unit complex known as the Condominios Olas Altas, just two blocks up from beautiful Los Muertos beach.
The Condominio Olas Altas complex is gated and secure, offering an in-ground pool (non-heated), a gas grill, many beautiful palm trees, lounging chairs, tables and chairs with umbrellas, and the hedges which makes the common area more private for guests. All the charm and energy of sidewalk bars and coffee shops, gay-friendly restaurants, fashionable boutiques, the Saturday flea market in Lazaro Cardenas Park, and the lively nightlife are practically around the corner, yet the complex stays relaxing and quiet, just 2 short blocks away from Bay of Banderas and Los Muertos beach.
Condominium features: Studio with king bed, one bath, air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen with a cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, blender, toaster, coffee maker and purified bottled water, a cable television, wireless internet access, phone for local calls, overhead fans, CD and DVD player, linens and towels, alarm clock, iron, hair dryer, and there is a safe in the unit.
Sleeps two (2) people maximum. This vacation rental is non-smoking (smoking allowed outside only, in terrace-pool area, please); no children are allowed; pets are not permitted. Some 50-60 stairs or so to the property up from the street level. The apartment complex was constructed in 1980.
Cleaning Services: The maid services included, one (1) time per week, is based on a minimum rental of seven (7) days. In case your rental is less than this or requires additional services, the cost will be approx $25 USD per day. There is no cleaning service on Sunday or Mexican holidays. We ask you to please be kind enough to tip the maid directly.
Condominios Olas Altas unit 6 is a third level property that has 800 square feet or 74 square meters. It is a charming air conditioned place with colorful decor that makes you feel like you are truly on vacation in paradise. It is a spacious unit that has a separate raised sleeping area with king sized bed. The full sized living room boasts cable TV. The entire studio has internet wireless to help keep you connected, if you wish.
The fully equipped kitchen includes microwave, fridge, stove, blender, coffee maker. The studio opens to an enclosed patio off the living room which has a dining and entertainment area. This rental property is 800 square feet (approx. 74 square meters), and is located on the third level up above the terrace and pool area, up a small set of stairs. Check-in is 3pm and check-out is at 11am.
Condominios Olas Altas complex with a dipping pool (not-heated) and a nice sundeck terrace for tanning and entertaining. Centrally located on the South Side's main street of Olas Altas; two blocks to Los Muertos beach. A short stroll or taxi to all Old Town stores, restaurants, and the exciting gay nightlife of clubs, bars and Mexican cantinas. A short 4-5 minutes to the Vallarta gay beach at the famed Blue and Green Chairs.

Note: Applicable taxes, the 16% IVA, are not included in the rental rate noted below, and have to be added to your total to complete your reservation once your dates are selected. For this Olas Altas condominium there is also a refundable security deposit of $225 USD due with the final payment which I hold for for my clients in case of damages and send back within a 7-10 days of departure. Client is responsible for any and all damages beyond normal wear and tear.
A 50% initial deposit is due within four to six (4-6) days of your confirmed reservation to hold your booking. The final payment/balance is due at 35-45 days before arrival, except for holidays when it is due at 65-70 days before arrival.
Condominium prices: Winter: Nov 1-Dec 19 and Jan 4-Apr 30, $110 per night, except holiday weeks; Summer: May 1-Oct 31, $85 per night; Holiday weeks: Easter week, and Christmas and New Years weeks, Dec 20-Jan 3, $135 per night. Important Note: Applicable taxes, the 16% IVA, have to be added to your total amount to complete your reservation. Three (3) night minimum, except for holidays with a seven (7) nights minimum.
